I am beyond recovery yet I teach it. I am Godlike yet I recognize no need for the Name. I am sober because being is neither conscious nor unconscious.

The Only and Only GA (God Anonymous)
Principles:
God is Anonymous, Impersonal and Ineffable.
So are We.
We devote our waking moments
to the conscious realization of being that is beyond
all words and ego-based concepts.
Congratulations.

Addiction Dies in Your Jubilation

Consciousness
(or the mad idea
that part of your mind
can be split off from others
and everything else)
is the source of all addiction.
This is compounded madness,
based on symbolic perception
though unrecognized as such,
but it can be quickly and easily laid to rest.
Further, this is something you can do,
even within the 'dream' of human existence, or consciousness.
It can not be done by an inquiet and unforgiving mind.
Happily, perfect success in meeting
those conditions is not required for your success.
All that is required is just a tiny willingness
to accept another way of looking at one's yourself.
A perspective that is objective and impartial.
Your will is mighty, your mind is strong.
Wave good bye in your mind to the little you
that seemed to be so vocal and full of needs.
That steered you like a drunk driver, drove your
pain and made you crazy.
Yet you seemed to think that little 'you'
was your own interest.
You own no self interest, rather you are owned by it.
Love is your self.
It it the only You.
You may rejoice in this.
You really have no choice.
The only choice you have
is a matter of when
you will fully accept it.

expunging the ego's hatred

I have been thinking about a expungement petition and order that I asked a lawyer to file for me in the local court. It was met with opposition from the District Attorney's office. My immediate feeling was that this was based on hatred and an attempt to control outcomes on their part rather than to just be, and rejoice in and congratulate me for deliverance from the treacly tentacles of human law.
My task to express love and acceptance of the DA, without accepting their error.
In order to do that I must forgive. That is to not 'see' the error. This is not the same as ignoring the misthought but of silently recognizing that the correction has already occurred. It has already occurred because it was never existent in the first place.

Involvement with drugs and alcohol may be rife with this due to the belief in magical thinking that these so -called magical substances entail.

I have accepted for myself several functions at the highest level they are the same but it may be helpful to delineate them here:

notice and dissolve any tendences to magical thinking in the presence of the light (or the presence of the light)
accept atonement for myself
do nothing about it --apart from the solution the Holy Spirit will gently manifest.

"From the Holy Spirit's way of seeing things, a so-called "human mind" addicted to asking questions is simply expressing arrogance, ultimately from a secret motive of hatred, since peace would have no reason whatsoever to ask:

"Attempt to solve no problems but within the Holy Instant's surety. For there the problem will be answered and resolved. Outside, there will be no solution, for there is no answer there that could be found. Nowhere outside a single, simple question is ever asked. The world can only ask a double question, with many answers, none of which will do. It does not ask a question to be answered, but only to restate its point of view. All questions asked within this world are but a way of looking, not a question asked. A question asked in hate cannot be answered, because it is an answer in itself. A double question asks and answers, both attesting the same thing, in different form." (ACIM Text Chapter 27)

"To an advanced teacher of God it is obvious that question asking does not arise from any need to know. It is simply the insanity of ego raising its voice in the hopes that making enough noise heckling God will serve to mask its own confused state.

"In the unedited version of the Course, Jesus tells Helen Schucman: "The ego is the questioning compartment in the post-separation psyche which man created for himself. It is capable of asking valid questions, but not of perceiving wholly valid answers, because these are cognitive, and cannot be perceived. The endless speculation about the meaning of mind has led to considerable confusion because the mind is confused. Only One-Mindedness is without confusion. A separate, or divided, mind MUST be confused. A divided mind is uncertain by definition. It has to be in conflict because it is out of accord with itself." (ACIM Text Chap. 3)

"Notice the Course just gave the addict something to grasp onto for justifying the addiction to question asking: Christ's statement that the ego is capable of asking valid questions. But that's not the point of the above passage. Being capable has nothing to do with necessity. There is simply no need to ask questions thought up by the intellect, and in fact doing so is a delaying device of the ego.

"In the Bible we read of the scribe who really grasped that his mind needed to quit questioning and focus only on God ... and Jesus indicates he will delay himself not much longer:

"And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after durst ask him any question." (Mark 12:34)

Again: OnlyThe Truth Is True

Deny what is false
because it is false.
This is the condition of reality.
For to accept the false as true
is to accept illusion as true
and that, in its effects,
is to deny what is true
by accepting it as false.

Only the truth is true.
Everything else is illusion.

Knowing is Not Thinking

The "thinking mind" is based on a desire
to defend from that
which seems fearful to the self.
Therefore, the role of the "thinking mind"
is to protect
the separated self
and keep it separate.

The knowing mind is different,
because it Knows.

Trust the knowing mind.
Put the "thinking mind" aside.This is the path to peace.

The Truth Is True

The Truth is always true,
and so the Truth is true now.
Do not fret that it cannot be true for you,
or that it cannot be true at all.
This fretting changes nothing
and it only hides the Truth from you.

The Truth is always true,
and you are a part of that Truth.
Nothing can change the essence
of what you are.

Trust and follow your Self
without fear,
and that which Is beyond fear
shall be known by you.

There are people who can walk away from you.

And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from
you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person
into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you,
coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is
never tied to anybody that left.

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are
not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that
their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when
people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to
raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've
got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe
in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and
I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if
it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to
stay. Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and
was never intended for your life, then you need to... LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ... LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your
worth... LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you ... LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge ... LET
IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction ... LET IT
GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better ... LET IT
GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship ...
LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help
themselves ... LET IT GO!!!

Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
